I was fortunate enough to take the magazine service journalism publishing class taught by Dr. Samir Husni during my senior year at the University of Mississippi. Throughout the course, I developed an original magazine concept, designed a complete magazine prototype and created a business plan.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Editorial Journalism and a minor in Italian. Throughout my time at Ole Miss, I have worked on different reporting projects for the School of Journalism and have had work published in Oxford Stories, The Review magazine, the Daily Mississippian, The Columbian Progress, and the Mississippi Climate Report. All of these publications have given me the knowledge of how to produce a story topic, conduct meaningful interviews with sources, write an effective article, and an understanding of the editing and design process. I am very interested in utilizing my editorial and design skills in the future through a career in journalism.
